Rychnov nad Kněžnou is a city in the northeast of the Czech Republic, located on the river Kněžná. The city is well known for its historical monuments in city center. For tourists, the nearby Eagle Mountains are also an attractive destination where there are ideal conditions for summer and winter sports. Karel Poláček, a popular Czech Jewish writer and journalist, was born in Rychnov nad Kněžnou in 1892.

Kolowratský baroque castle attracts the attention of tourists. In addition to the interior of the castle, you can visit the museum and gallery of the Eagle Mountains.

Holy Trinity Church is one of the most important cultural monuments of the city and has the third largest bell in Bohemia Kitts. Besides church services, the church also host concerts of classical music and choral singing as well as providing the venue for the Orlické Organ Festival.
