St. Martin Cathedral - This largest and most famous church in Bratislava was built in the 14th century, with later additions dating from the 15th through 18th centuries. In the period from 1563 – 1830, the cathedral was used as a venue for the coronations of Hungarian kings and queens.

Bratislava Castle - The castle houses numerous scientific and educational exhibits, including historical items, and numismatic, ethnographic and art collections. The castle also houses a unique collection of musical instruments, musical records and photographs documenting the lives of famous people from the world of music. The Slovak Hockey Hall of Fame is inside the castle.

Malé Karpaty - This nearly 100 kilometer-long mountain range stretches from the town of Nové Město nad Váhom all the way to Bratislava. The area is perfect for hiking and bicycle riding and, in the winter, also for cross-country skiing. The Small Carpathians also have several ski resorts.

Senec and the Sľnečné Lakes - One of Slovakia‘s most popular summer tourist destinations. In 2004, the resort opened a new thermal water park with nine heated pools and water temperatures of up to 36°C.
