Arcos de la Frontera is a town in the province of Cádiz in southern Spain. It is located on the eastern bank of the Guadalete river, which flows to the Bay of Cadiz. The town commands a fine vista atop a sandstone ridge, from which the peak of San Cristobal and the Guadalete Valley can be seen. Due to its geographical location Arcos has always been a strategic location. In the 21^st Century, it has become the entry to the Route of the White Villages and Historic-Artistic. With its breathtaking scenery, it makes for a prime tourist destination in the province of Cadiz.

Its area is 528 km² and it has a density of 55.7 inhabitants/km². It is located at an altitude of 185 meters and is 67 kilometers from the provincial capital, Cadiz. Located on a hill by the river Guadalete.
