Cúcuta is the capital of Norte de Santander. It is located in the northeast of Colombia, in the Valle of Cúcuta, on the Eastern Cordillera of the Andes. It is located 570 kilometers from Bógota. It has approximately 840,000 inhabitants. It is located 320 meters above sea level.
